Day 2 Paris 11

This trip to Paris I tried to visit a few different museums, including the Petit Palais. I snapped a few pics of my favorite pieces of art, including this painting, The Parisienne, by Charles-Alexandre Giron.  Doesn’t she just exude chicness?

Day 2 Paris 12

I just loved this sculpture. Its a little different since she is laying down when most sculptures are taller with the subjects standing up. But I really thought she was very relatable. Who doesn’t feel like throwing themselves down like this some days?

Day 2 Paris 13

I don’t remember who this lovely lady is, but because we were in Paris and she was carrying a a huge sack full of baguettes, I declared her the Goddess of Bread.

Day 2 Paris 14

I feel like this lady is the French cousin of Venus de Milo, who is currently residing across town in the Louvre Museum. The only thing I am curious about is why she is stepping on the face mask!

Day 2 Paris 15

This little guy — a little frog/bunny gremlin — was one of my favorites even though he kind of creeps me out. I definitely wouldn’t want to see this guy in my backyard!
