One of my absolute favorite things about Marina del Rey is the bike path thats right behind our apartment. It’s a 22 mile bike path all along the Los Angeles coastline, running all the way from Pacific Palisades down to Torrance, just past Redondo Beach. We take a bike ride almost every single weekend usually to Santa Monica Pier (north) or Manhattan Beach (south) and we always make a pit stop for some lunch and wine. Totally one of my favorite things to do on the weekend and either north or south, its such a gorgeous ride along the beach! On this particular day we didn’t ride on the bike path, but rather walked up it a little bit and headed into the marina for dinner.
I’ve also been having a lot of fun lately with hats since my colorist told me that the sun will make my newly blonde locks turn brassy. This hat is from Cuyana, one of my absolute favorite brands — I love their “fewer, better” motto and minimalist mentality. I own a few of their products and I’m super lucky that one of their 2 stores (nationwide!) is 5 minutes away from me in Venice!
If theres one thing that this modern girl likes its doing things myself. With today’s innovation and technology, I see no reason why we can’t do things to our liking! When Anjolee contacted me about designing a piece of jewelry I was totally on board.
I thought about what I wanted and needed in my jewelry box I remembered that I had a gorgeous pair of citrine earrings and I never wore them because I had no other jewelry to wear that matched. So I went ahead and started the design process!
I looked at Anjolee’s different offerings and decided a ring would compliment my earrings best. However, they also offer diamond pendants, tennis bracelets, and more! My favorite ring was the five across diamond band, but I chose to customize it by alternating diamonds and citrine stones. I love the finished product — it matches my earrings perfectly, but also looks great on its own as a right hand ring.
This post is sponsored by Anjolee. They provided me with the opportunity to design and customize my own piece of jewelry, but all opinions (and design ideas!) are my own.
I wear yoga pants most days while I am working at home, so when I need to get dressed to leave the house, I now tend to gravitate towards comfier pieces. When I saw these fancy pajama pants I knew they would be the perfect pants for the summer. I’m not a huge fan of shorts and sometimes jeans can be a little too warm, but these breezy pants are perfect for hot days.
In addition to my new obsession of wearing fancy pajamas, I’m also obsessed with Rocksbox! A delivery of 3 customized jewelry pieces sent to me each month for only $19 — I can keep the pieces for as long as I want, send them back for new ones, our purchase the items at a discount! I loved the Margaret Elizabeth cocktail ring so much that I purchased it, but I sent back the other pieces for new ones.
